This intensive and rewarding course is ideal for students who want to improve their Academic English in order to study in an English-speaking university or college. The interactive classes focus on developing academic writing and presentation skills through engaging tasks and projects. You will also improve your listening skills, and can practise spoken English in authentic academic scenarios in order to improve your fluency. In addition, you will learn how to search for sources and how to reference in academic writing.
On passing all the required elements of the course assessment you will have fulfilled GSM London’s English language requirement for entry onto a GSM London degree or foundation programme.
If you pass this course and go on to do a degree or extended degree with GSM London, we will deduct 100% of the fees from this course from the cost of your chosen degree programme.

For entry onto the English for University course, you will require one of the below:
- Common European Framework certification at level B2
- IELTS score minimum of 5.0
- GSM London test
