At GSM London we’re proud to work with schools and colleges to support and encourage participation in higher education.
Our team of dedicated Student Relations Managers work with schools, sixth forms and colleges to equip students with the tools and information they need to make informed choices about higher education.
We also have dedicated community engagement representatives, who work with communities in East and West London and those who are traditionally under-represented in higher education.
Our teams can provide free impartial advice to help your students on their journey to university. We offer a variety of services which can be delivered at GSM London (in Greenwich and Greenford) or on-site at your institution, including:
Advice stands
We can set up advice hubs in schools and colleges before, during and after submitting the UCAS application, to help with the process and answer any queries students may have about going to university.
UCAS workshops
These include advice on how to use the UCAS website, searching for courses, how to choose your institutions once you have received your offers, and a general overview of the next steps in the UCAS process, such as applying for maintenance and finance.
Personal statement workshops
Personal statement workshops offer your students a chance to review their personal statement and get tips on how to improve what they have written. We also offer students advice on what to include and how to structure their personal statements. Students can also benefit from one-to-one advice sessions with our trained Student Relations Managers.
