The Dean and the faculty team are responsible for running social science, law and technology programmes at GSM London, and leading their development for the future. Your day-to-day contact will always be your programme leader, but the faculty team is available to provide support where needed.

Where is the faculty based?
At GSM London, we have two attractive, convenient sites which students can choose to study at, and the faculty operates across both:
-
our modern Greenford Campus has a good location for public transport
-
our classic Greenwich Campus is in a historic part of London, with good DLR links
How are the programmes taught?
We are innovative with our teaching. Programmes are taught in lectures, and also tutorials in smaller groups of up to 30 students. We also offer practical workshops to advance your skills, with speakers based in high-quality industry roles.
For 2015/2016, we will be launching a new Level 5 career-projects module for our programmes, which will give students hands-on experience working with employers in their industry.
What are the lecturers like?
Many of our staff are high calibre real-world business people who teach part-time and work in industry the rest of the week. Our full-time lecturers also complete research to inform their teaching.
What are the timetables like?
Our timetables are reasonably flexible. Students can advise us of any existing commitments, such as part-time work or childcare, and we will help to fit their timetable around those times/days wherever possible.
What is the most popular course?
All our programmes are popular, with an average of 30-50 new students at each registration. We have 3 registrations per year for all our programmes.
How do you help students become more employable?
We are very career-focused. Our programmes are tailored to give the students the skills and knowledge employers want. Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to attend events and workshops with employers, to get experience and make contacts.
We also have a dedicated Careers Service (across both campuses), who offer exceptional knowledge and advice, and take every individual’s needs into account.
